Peter A. Deeb of Woodlyn died May 14, 2015 at Riddle Memorial Hospital.

Born in Swoyersville, PA, he was the son of the late Anis and Sadie Deeb, living in West Pittston until moving to his late residence 15 years ago.

Peter owned and operated Mae's Delicatessen for 30 years until retiring in 2000, previously working for the International Union of Operating Engineers.

He was a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, a graduate of Swoyersville High School and an avid sports fan. He is a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War.

Peter is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Mae Loftus Deeb; his children Peter J. Deeb and Kelley Deeb; grandchildren Peter R. Deeb and Kerry Deeb; also his sister Sadie Ann Deeb.

Funeral Mass 10:00AM Monday, May 18, 2105 at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA 19022 where friends may call after 9AM. Burial private.
