Peter P. Bocchino, Jr., 82, of Wilmington, DE died August 31, 2016 at his home. Born and raised in Chester, he was the son of the late Peter P. and Helen Felack Bocchino and resided in Claymont, DE before moving to his late residence in 1988.

Peter served in the US Navy during the Korean War and was last employed as a mechanic by Star Industrial in Claymont. He previously worked for Jetronic in Pottstown, PA. Peter was an NRA member and enjoyed shooting, fishing and swimming. He loved animals, especially dogs, and at the ago of 50, Peter began painting with oils. He enjoyed photography and was a "Mr. Fixit" always lending a hand to anyone that needed help, but most important was being with his family.

Peter was predeceased by his son, Peter V. Bocchino.

Survivors: loving husband of Marian I. Todd Bocchino, married 59 years; devoted father of Cheryl "Cheri" Saulsbery (Jim) and Susan Wolf (Mike); brother of Patsy Maze and Joanie Wood; also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
