Peggy Pitts Righter, 83, of Ridley Park, died November 8, 2012 at Taylor Hospital. Peggy was born in Philadelphia, where she resided prior to moving to her late residence in 1961.

She was a graduate of John W. Hallahan High School, Class of 1946, and was a member of The Church of St. Madeline. Peggy had previously been employed at Strawbridge & Clothiers in Springfield. She enjoyed trips to the casinos, but most important was her love and devotion to her family.

She was daughter of the late Samuel and Margaret Phillips Pitts, and was also predeceased by her son Charles J. Righter who died June 7, 1971 and a granddaughter.

Survivors: her husband of 63 years, Charles A. Righter, mother of Peggy Milligan (Bob Malone), Jack Righter (Ronna) and Chris Tait (Jeff), also six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass: 10 AM Tuesday at The Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Avenue, Ridley Park

Visitation: 6:30 to 8:30 PM Monday and 8:30 to 9:15 AM Tuesday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park

Burial: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery
