Paul Francis Mickle, 86 of Eddystone died on January 12, 2024.  Born in Holmes, the son of the late Albert Simon and Mary Anastasia Mickle (nee Penrose), he lived in Chester before moving to Eddystone 56 years ago.

Paul attended Ridley Township High School and was employed as a Maintenance Mechanic at Greif Brothers for 36 years before retiring in 2002.  Paul served in the United States Air Force and told many stories about being stationed in Alaska. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and traveling but his greatest pleasure was spending time with his loving family.

He was the loving husband of 60 years to Edna M. Mickle (nee Adams), father of Kimberly A. Colgan (Mark), Paul F. Mickle, Jr. and Mark Mickle (Janet), brother of Robert Mickle (Toy), Alberta Ravert, Rosemary Moore, Annie Husted (Glen) and was predeceased by his twin sister Mary Grace Casey, his sister Dorothy Grimm and great-grandchild Kayla Colgan, he is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral Liturgy 11 AM Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 9:30 AM.  Burial SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
