Paul A. Mattus, 50, of Mechanicsburg, PA died August 30, 2011 at Thomas Jefferson Hospital.

Born in Darby, he was the son of Paul G. and Valerie Hurchalla Mattus and lived in Woodlyn until moving to his late residence 27 years ago.

Paul was an Agent for Allstate Insurance Co. for the past 30 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, and was a graduate of Our Lady of Peace School, St. James High School, Class of 1979 and West Chester College. He played golf and was a fan of all Philadelphia sports teams. Paul also coached football and basketball at Good Shepherd School and was a certified boxing referee and judge for the state of Pennsylvania.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children Paul J. Mattus and Amanda Mattus, his wife Pamela Jacoby Mattus and their children Austin, Colton, Dalton and Tristan Mattus, also his sister Jacqueline DiGiacomo (Guy) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Mass 11:00AM Friday, September 2, 2011 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 206 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park where friends may call from 9:00 to 10:45AM. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
