Paul E. Jones, 73, of Venice, FL and Ocean City, NJ (formerly Ridley Park), died on March 26, 2018 at Bryn Mawr Hospital. Born in Chester, PA, he was the son of the late Paul I. Jones and Margaret Jester.

Paul was a 1962 graduate of Ridley High School and served in the Delaware Air National Guard. On November 3, 1967, he married the love of his life, Carol Gavin. They resided in Ridley Park for 38 years before retiring to Ocean City, NJ and Venice, FL. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Ridley Park.

Paul was a proud member of the Steamfitters Local Union 420 for over 50 years and enjoyed spending time with his "fitter" friends. He was also licensed to sell real estate in PA and NJ. Paul was an avid tennis player and also enjoyed golfing, dancing and spending time at the beach. He was extremely devoted to his family, friends and grandchildren.

Survivors: Wife of 50 years, Carol Gavin Jones; daughters, Wendy Ann Jones and Adrienne Rouse (Bill); sisters, Marjorie Shoemaker (the late Gary) and Debi Field (James); grandchildren, Billy Rouse and Emily Rouse; also, loving family members and many friends.

Visitation: 7:00-9:00 PM Friday, April 6, 2018 and after 11:00 AM Saturday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078

Burial Rite: 12:00 Noon Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the funeral home
