Paul J. Buffington, 90 of Broadkill Beach, DE died on October 19, 2022. Born in Chester, the son of the late Frank B. and Helen C. (Earle) Buffington, he lived in Malvern, PA and St. Augustine, FL before moving to Broadkill Beach.

Paul proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War and was previously employed as an electrician at Sun Ship Building and Drydock. Paul loved his dogs, Peanuts, Mutt and Jeff and enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching baseball. He also loved listening to the opera and traveling with Connie on their motorbike especially through Germany and Alaska.

He was predeceased by his true love of 35 years, Connie "Squirrel" Caccamo. He is father of Kendle Buffington and the late Courtney Buffington, step-father of Ed Rubei (Amy) and Guy Rubei, brother of Helen Stant (Robert) and the late Margaret Allen, Hugh J. Buffington, Frank J. Buffington, Earl J. Buffington and Rose Ralston, also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation 9-10 AM Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park followed by a Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone. Burial SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Family requests that masks be worn.  pjb
