Patrick John Lynch, 38, of Ridley Park, formerly of Garnet Valley, passed away on October 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Media, PA, Patrick was the beloved son of Philip Francis Lynch Jr. and Karen Buchanan Lynch, brother of Philip Francis Lynch III and stepson of Francine Seislove Lynch. He was a lifelong resident of Delaware County and a 2006 graduate of Garnet Valley High School, where he was a proud member of the varsity basketball team. He later attended Penn State University, earning a bachelor's degree. While at Penn State, he played on the university's basketball team and continued to pursue his love of the game throughout his life.
Pat worked as a dedicated electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 654 in Upper Chichester, PA. He took great pride in his trade and was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to his craft.
A lifelong basketball fan, Pat rarely missed a game—whether cheering on his favorite NBA team or watching college basketball. He was an avid reader, especially history books, and had a deep appreciation for learning about the past.
Pat was a devoted son to his mother, Karen, and shared a strong and loving bond with his father, Phil. He was a loyal brother to Phil III and a caring stepson to Francine. Family meant everything to him, and he will be remembered for his quiet strength, loyalty, and the deep love he had for those closest to him.
He is survived by his mother, Karen Buchanan Lynch, his father, Philip Francis Lynch Jr., His stepmother, Francine Seislove Lynch, and his brother, Philip Francis Lynch III (Lindsey Tobin). He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as his union brothers and sisters in the IBEW.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078, and again on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at St. Rose of Lima.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Patrick's memory may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or to a local MS organization of your choice.
