Patricia A. Smith (nee Quadenfield), formerly of the Grays Ferry section of South Philly, passed away on February 19, 2023 after a brief illness, at the age of 80.

Beloved mother of David (Alicia), Trish, Cindy (Bill), and Michele. Adored grandmother of Shannon, John (Michelle), Allison (Kyle), Brianna, Melissa (Sean), Kaitlyn, Matthew (Mikaela), Ryan, Laura, Sean, and Abby. Great-Grandmom of Olivia and Liam. Dearest sister of Robert Quadenfield (Debbie). Cherished sister-in-law of Midge and John Clark, Bill and Chris Smith, and Marianne and Bob Smith. Predeceased by her parents Amelia and David Quadenfield, and brothers David and Richard Quadenfield. Also survived and loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Patty was a 1960 graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School and longtime employee of the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She was happiest when spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Her kind, welcoming personality and her witty sense of humor made her a favorite of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday 6:30 to 8:30 P.M.at White Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Avenue, Ridley Park and Friday 9:00 A.M  to 9:45A.M. at St. Madeline Catholic Church, 110 Park Street, Ridley Park, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10A.M. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
