PATRICIA ANN RAPPOLD:      On Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at the age of 84, Patricia Ann Rappold passed away with grace in her home.

Proceeded in death by her husband of 56 years, Edward Kurt Rappold and their son, Edward Kurt Rappold Jr, she was the daughter of L B and Lunie Mae Batson of Lake Wales, FL, both deceased.  She is survived by two children, Susan Bratton (Greg) of West Chester, PA and Patricia Dement (Jeff) of Claymont, DE.  She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Edward K Rappold, III (Renee); Michele Rappold, Jesse Rappold; Daniel Bratton (Morgan); Krissy Bratton; Sara VanNeerden (Chris); Amanda Moyer (Matthew); Jeffrey Dement (Rachel); and sixteen great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister, Susan Fussell of Greenville, FL, her brother Lamar Batson (Phyllis), of Waverly FL and sister-in- laws, Grace Paulson of West Chester, PA; Mary Batson of Lake Wales, FL; Margaret Batson of Live Oak, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.

She had a huge heart and was always helpful to those around her.  When she was not at home with her family, at church or watching the Phillies, she was playing cards with her girlfriends or talking on the phone with her extended family.  She spread joy thru her southern cooking and welcomed everyone to her front porch for conversation.  She spent the last weeks of her life enjoying the company of her grandbabies and great-grandbabies, friends and neighbors.  She is now in heaven smiling down on all of us with the "love" of her life.

A remembrance of her life will occur on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Resurrection Episcopal Church, located at 2131 Mount Rd, Aston, PA 19014 at 10:00 am.  Visitation will begin at 9:30 am.  Burial will follow immediately at Mt Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA.
