Obituary

Patricia (Coughlin) DiGiacobbe, 76

Patricia "Pat" passed from this life to the next on April 3, 2011 ,peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff at the Taylor Hospital.Patricia was born in Philadelphia the daughter of Peggy and Bill Coughlin.

Patricia attended St. Theresa School, Ottawa, Canada, graduated from Notre Dame High School ('53), Moylan, PA and Fitzgerald Mercy School of Medical Technology('55). Patricia raised a large family in Broomall, PA still finding time to volunteer for the Marple Ambulance Corps and the American Red Cross. She was employed as a Medical Technician , an EMT and as support staff at Cardinal O'Hara High School. In retirement, Patricia and her husband of over 50 years, F. Paul "Phil" DiGiacobbe , moved to Clearwater, Florida, where she enjoyed making friends and volunteering for the local Humane Society. Patricia will be remembered by friends and family for her kindness, sense of humor and that twinkle in her eye.

Patricia is preceded in death by a daughter, Suzanne, and her loving husband F. Paul DiGiacobbe.

She leaves in this life 6 children: a daughter , Mary Pat ( Evans), of Harrisburg, PA. ; and five sons, Phil , of Dunedin , FL.; Bill of West Chester, PA.; David of Phila., PA.; Paul and Michael of Ridley Park, PA.; Siblings: Bill, of Exton, PA; Michael, Devon ,England; Maureen( Kennedy),of Downingtown, PA ; Brian, of Frazer, PA and 13 grandchildren , nieces and nephews.

The DiGiacobbe family will receive friends on Monday, April 11, from 10am to 11am at Saint Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA followed by a Memorial Mass at 11 am in her honor.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorial donations be made in Patricia's name to the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Delaware County SPCA :
