Patricia Ann Bellwoar (Krall)
April 16, 1932 – July 8, 2025
Patricia Ann Bellwoar (nee Krall), affectionately known as Pat or Patsy, formerly a long time resident of East Lansdowne, PA, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, at the age of 93. Patsy was born and raised in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William and Marian Krall (nee Kephart).
Pat was a graduate of West Catholic High School. Following graduation, Pat transitioned into a successful career as a Secretary in the accounting industry, where she was known for her professionalism and work ethic. She juggled working with caring for her family and children at a time when most women did not work outside the home. Pat was very intelligent and had excellent typing and stenography skills. She also was a quick learner when computers came into the work force, and enjoyed taking classes to improve her skills at Delaware County Community College.
Mom (Patsy) and Dad (Bob) met at a local dance in Southwest Philadelphia, and the rest is history. They were married on February 11, 1956 at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church and were together for over 58 years until my father's passing on November 7, 2014. Pat and Bob were a very handsome couple, loved music and dancing, and always were dressed to the hilt in their younger days. Patsy and Bob were a very hard working team, took pride in their home and loved nothing more than spending time with their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Patsy always lent a helping hand to anyone in need and especially threw herself into her role as a Grandmother over the years, frequently babysitting and cooking for them, and driving to various activities and even taking her grandchildren on numerous vacations. There was nothing she wouldn't do for her grandchildren. Patsy was an amazing Grandmother, celebrating birthdays, attending school functions, sports games/special events and was always a constant source of support and strength to them over the years, creating lifetime memories.
Pat also enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, and was an avid cook, loved to sew, decorate cakes, did ceramics, and was a very social active woman. She had many friends and enjoyed entertaining and having friends and family over for holidays, social events, family parties, christenings, showers and social gatherings. Pat's house was the go to house for many family functions and celebrations over the years.
Pat was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Bellwoar; the loving and devoted mother of Linda Piekarski (Stanley), Robert E. Bellwoar, Jr. (Annette), and Richard T. Bellwoar (Jeanne). She was the proud and devoted Grandmother of Jennifer Kapanjie, Michael J. Piekarski (Liz), Rachel Bellwoar, Alex Bellwoar, Heather Chase, Richard T. Bellwoar, Jr., Rory Bellwoar, Kyle Bellwoar and the late Gregory J. Piekarski. She was the proud Great Grandmother of Landon T. Kapanjie, Sienna Rose Kapanjie, Savannah Jane Kapanjie, Vivian Sloane Kapanjie, Jack Conley, Molly Conley, Cora Chase, Leo Bellwoar, Janina McIntosh and Penelope May Piekarski. Pat is the last of her eight (8) siblings and enjoyed a long and fruitful life; predeceased by her siblings, Jane, Doris, Betty, Kitty, Billy, Frankie, Jack (her twin) and Jim.
Pat had a very strong faith which gave her comfort and strength especially in her latter years.
Friends and Family are invited to celebrate Pat's life at her funeral services. A Viewing will take place on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 10:00 to10:45 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA 19022, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.
