Olga H. Kuryea Rice, 97 of Springfield, died February 3, 2013 at her home. Born in Chester, Mrs. Rice lived in Ridley Park prior to moving to her late residence three years ago. She was last employed as a Utility Clerk in the Burn Center at Crozer-Chester Medical Center retiring in 1981, and previously worked at Reynold Springs.
Olga was a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, she was devoted to her faith and said the rosary daily. She was an avid reader, a wonderful pinochle player and a good cook, but most important was her love and devotion to her family.
She was wife of the late Arthur Rice, daughter of the late Michael and Mary Moroz Kuryea and sister of the late John, Harry, Anna and Anna Kuryea and Mary McMunigal.
Survivors: mother of Frederick Rice (Joan Karol), Rose Marie Walters and Alfreda "Freddie" Struble (Jerry), sister of Daniel Kuryea (Helen), also 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass: 10 AM Saturday at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA 19022
Visitation: 8:45 to 9:45 AM Saturday at the church
Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery
