Elizabeth L. "Betty" Madison O'Donnell, 81, of Ridley Park, died March 26, 2012 at her home. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. O'Donnell lived in Yeadon prior to moving to her late residence in 1953. She was a graduate of West Catholic High School and was previously employed at Strawbridge and Clothier in Springfield. Betty belonged to The Church of St. Madeline and was a member of the Sodality.

She was wife of the late Raymond F. O'Donnell, daughter of the late Freemont Ignatius and Elizabeth M. MacInnes Madison, and sister of the late Alma van de Steeg, Catherine Saksa and Isabel Farrow.

Survivors: her daughter Patricia I. O'Donnell and her grandson Michael X. O'Donnell with whom she made her home, her son Michael R. O'Donnell (Diane), her sister Patricia A. Madison, also grandmother of Katherine R. and Joseph R. O'Donnell.

Funeral Mass: 10 AM Friday at The Church of St. Madeline, Penn Street and Morton Ave., Ridley Park

Visitation: 9 to 9:45 AM Friday at the church
