Norman M. Burgess, Jr., 65 of Woodlyn died on March 2, 2025.  Born in Chester, he was the son of the late Norman and Genevieve "Gen" Pinto Burgess.

Norman was a graduate of Sun Valley High School and Aston Vo-Tech, class of 1978 and was employed as a Sheet Metal Assembler for the V-22 at the Boeing Company for 35 years before retiring in 2019.  He always enjoyed eating a local diners where he met many new friends.  Norman was also an excellent auto mechanic and enjoyed going to car shows, especially with the Delco Cruisers.  He also loved taking rides to Lancaster and Cape May, but most important was time spent with his family.

He was the husband of Denise M. Hook Burgess, father of Amanda Collins and Brian Burgess (Rachel), brother of David M. Burgess (Teresa) and Jacqueline M. Sgro (Robert), he is also survived by six grandchildren.

Funeral Liturgy 10:30 AM Friday, March 7, 2025 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Avenue Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 9 AM.  Burial will follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
