Norma G. Acampora Pinto, 90, of Swarthmore died December 11, 2017 at Wesley Enhanced Living. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Juouine Lowaldo Acampora and resided in the Overbrook Section of Philadelphia before moving to her late residence in 1957.
Norma was a graduate of Southern High School, class of 1944 and was employed by GE for 10 years. She was a member of Notre Dame de Lourdes R.C. Church and the Seniors. Norma was a Breast Cancer Survivor and loved dancing, Frank Sinatra music and concerts. She was an excellent cook and baker, but most important was her family especially her grandchildren.
Norma was predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Leonard M. Pinto, Sr., who died November 3, 2017; and her eight older siblings.
Survivors: mother of Deborah A. Tew, Leonard M. Pinto, Jr. (Sharon) and Denise T. Hamilton (Peter); grandmother of Thomas French (Molly), Daria Levin (Devlin), Lisa Robinson (Jon), Leonard Pinto, III, Brian Foley, Nicholas Pinto (Kayla), Vincent Pinto, Matthew Hamilton and Zachary Hamilton; also, seven great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM Friday, December 15, 2017 at Notre Dame de Lourdes R.C. Church, Fairview Rd. and Michigan Ave., Swarthmore, PA 19081, where friends may call after 9:00 AM
