Norma Joan Pierce, 92 of Chadds Ford, died on March 4, 2025 at Brandywine Living at Longwood.  Born in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Clara Breeding Stubbs.

Above all, Joan's greatest joy came from spending time with her loving family.  She always looked forward to spending time during the holidays with her loved ones as well as traveling with her late husband, her son and daughter-in-law and her grandson.

She was the loving wife of the late Warren R. Pierce, Jr. for 59 years, devoted mother of Robert W. Pierce (Julie) and grandmother of Matthew R. Pierce (Allison), sister of Virginia Imre and the late Robert Stubbs. She is also survived by her great-granddaughter Corrine Pierce.

Services and burial will be held privately.
