Norma H. Opperman Palo, 85, formerly of Folsom, died on June 5, 2021 at Lorien Bulle Rock in Havre de Grace, MD.  Born in Johnstown, PA daughter of the late Earl and June Berkerile Opperman, she lived in Folsom before moving to Perryville, MD in 2018.

Norma was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and was last employed by Delaware County Community Transit.  She loved bingo, cruising and all animals, especially Ducky, but most important was her family.

She was wife of the late Walter S. Giers and Charles A. Palo, Sr., mother of the late Steven W. Giers and sister of the late Beverly Sidor and Chick Opperman.

Norma is survived by her children; Karen N. Glanzmann, Richard E. Giers and Anthony C. Palo, her grandchildren; Erica and Adam Glanzmann, and her siblings; Shirley Norton and John Opperman.
