Nora F. Galbraith (nee Rudolf), 80, of Aston passed away in loving peacefulness on June 18, 2016 surrounded by her husband and children. Born in Marcus Hook, she was the daughter of the late Charles R. and Alice Marie McHugh Rudolf. Nora resided in Boothwyn and Ridley Park before moving to her late residence in 1978.
Family and friends remember many of Nora's talents including champion high diver, floral designer, interior designer, wedding caterer, cake decorator extraordinaire, seamstress, costume designer and country western singer. But Nora is mostly remembered for THE Christmas house and amazing holiday light display at their home on Knowlton Road in Aston.
She is predeceased by all 13 of her siblings and her grandson, Stevie
Nora is survived by her cherished husband of 65 years, William J. (Chief) Galbraith Sr.; their sons, William Jr. ( Lynn) and Steven (Debra); their daughters, Alice Galbraith Ramos, Trish Kelly (Joe Canuso), Susan Armbruster ( Pete) and Eileen Galbraith (John Vecere). Nora and Chief were the proud grandparents of 19 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
A celebration of Nora's life will be held 7:00-9:00 PM Thursday, June 23, 2016 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Road, Aston PA 19014
