Nicola "Nick" Ricci

Nicola "Nick" Ricci, age 92, of Boothwyn PA, passed away on September 21, 2026. He was born and raised in the small town of Pescolanciano in Molise, Italy and served in the Italian Armed Forces. From Rome Italy, moving to Pennsylvania USA in 1969 with his wife and children.

The son of the late Americo and Ashenza (DiLucia) Ricci, Nick lived in Chester PA before building his family's home, 38 years ago, in 1988 in Boothwyn.

Before his retirement Nick worked as a mason/bricklayer for John Bubel Masonry of Media, PA and other various contractors. He was "Mr. Fix-it" and was very mechanical, resourceful and had a strong work ethic. Nick loved gardening & baking bread with his wife as well as boating, camping and working on cars & engines, but most important was his loving family.

He was the husband of the late Carmina "Carmella" (Sacco) Ricci who passed away on January 13, 2010 after 50 years of marriage, father of Pierluigi "Pete" Ricci, Patricia Ricci Ferrari (Frederick) and the late Paula J. Ricci, grandfather of Nicole Ferrari Popolizio (Dominic), Kristin Ferrari and Lauren Ferrari Turpen (Tyler), great-grandfather of Gaetano "Ty" Popolizio and Massi Popolizio, brother of Erenio, Guerino, Giovanna, Maria and Concetta and he is also survived by his cousins Lilia "Lee" Palumbo (Jack), Nancy Rushinski (Carl) and the late John Ricci.

Services and burial will be held privately.
