Nicholas "Alphabet" Peisochenski 83 of Ogden, died February 20, 2015 at his home.
Born in Leiperville, PA he lived in Ridley Township before moving to Ogden 58 years ago. He was a machinist at Congoleum Narin Corporation, retiring in 1997, serving as Vice-President of the United Steel Workers Union Local 12698 in the 1980's. He also was Leader of the Grievance Committee as well as foreman of the machinist's.
Nicholas was a graduate of Ridley Township High School, class of 1949, where he played baseball and was one of the best catchers in Delaware County. He also played in the Catania Delco League. He was a member of St. John Fisher R.C. Church and was inducted into the Ridley Township Old Timers in 1979 for softball. Nick loved golf, was an avid bowler, enjoyed traveling and poker, but most important to him was time spent with his family.
He was son of the late Mikolaj (Piasoczynski) and Tekla Janko Peisochenski and was the last of five brothers; Bill "Champ", Stanley, Carl and Vic.
Nicholas is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Evelyn K. Pedrick Peisochenski; his children Terri Peisochenski Abegglen (John), Cathi Gregg (Don), Robert Peisochenski (Christine), Denise Peisochenski, Lisa Peisochenski-Conley (Charles) and Michael Peisochenski (Monica); also 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service 10:30AM Thursday, February 26, 2015 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston where friends may call from 7 to 9PM Wednesday and after 9:30AM Thursday. Burial Mount Hope Cemetery.
