Nicholas J. Natale breathed his last breath in the early morning of September 18, 2022 in the loving arms of his angel on earth, highschool sweetheart and beautiful wife of 60 years while surrounded by his 6 devoted children after a long battle with cancer.
"Big Nick" as he was affectionately known, was born on May 2, 1940 in Ridley Township. Nick was a 1958 graduate of Ridley High School. After working 38 years, he retired as union Vice President & Chairman of the United Fund at Scott Paper Company in Chester, PA. It was Nick's time to pursue his lifelong dream, while always providing for his family, so in 1979 Nick bought a metal index box filled with his first and loyal customers that were to become part of his very own business B&N PIANO SALES AND SERVICE, INC his pride and biggest joy. He was the founder, owner, CEO, tuner, mover, secretary, office manager, accountant ... Big Nick did it all and was never more proud. He was also an active member in the Piano Technician Guild.
Nick used his piano, saxophone and singing talents throughout his earlier life as a 9 year member of his local band, followed later serving 20 years with the St James Blue and Grey Choir. Nick always opened his home to extended family and friends but he was most proud of his family and his biggest enjoyment was playing the piano at home while loved ones sang along.
Nick was predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Helen, brother Richard Natale and son Michael Jude Natale. He is survived by his beloved wife Mary Ann Natale, sister Helen Hall, children Susan Cohen (Donald), Mary Jane Borcky, Nicholas Natale (Teresa), Kendrick Natale (Elizabeth), Tracey Craig (Kevin) Lori Goldberg (Michael), his grandchildren: Lindsay, Scott, Michael, Dennis, Sami, Stefan, Charlee, Alyssa, Gina, Nicholas, Kendrick, Joshua, Zachary, Rachel, Rebekah, Elijah, Brandon, Benny, Kevin, KaiLea, Cory, Amber, Michael and 24 great-grandchildren and counting.
