Nicholas J. Crocetto, 88, of Woodlyn, PA died January 17, 2011 at Crozer Chester Medical Center after a brief illness.
Born in Philadelphia, he has lived in Woodlyn for fifty three years.
Mr. Crocetto was a material handler at General Electric for 26 years, retiring in 1983.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during WWII with the 238th Engineer Combat Batallion.
Mr. Crocetto enjoyed woodworking, making birdhouses and giving them to bird lovers. He loved gardening and fishing but most important to him was his family.
He was son of the late Antonio and Philomena Dinocenti Crocetto and brother of the late Paul Crocetto, Florence Lee Crocetto and Jenny Stendardo.
Survivors; His wife of 60 years, Alvera A. Guarente Crocetto, sons: Anthony J. Crocetto (Julia) of Talkeetna, AK, and Nicholas M. Crocetto (Toni) of Woodlyn, two grandsons: Nicholas and Moses.
Funeral service 10:30AM Monday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave. Ridley Park, PA where friends may call after 9:30AM. Burial SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
