On November 8, 2010 of Upland, PA. Born in Chester, PA he lived in Chester before moving to his late residence fifty years ago.
He was last employed for C.S.I. for 16 1/2 years, retiring in 2004. He previously worked for Phoenix Steel for 35 years.
Mr. Carlone was a 1949 graduate of Chester High School and earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration for the fomer PMC Evening Division (now Widener University) in 1965.
A former member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Chester, Mr. Carlone is a member of American Legion Post #94 in Brookhaven. He enjoyed traveling, the theater and photography.
He was U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War, receiving the Korean Service Medal with two Bronze Stars, the Bronze Star Medal, United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
Mr. Carlone is survived by his wife of fifty one years, Dolores Marencin Carlone, sister; Lillian Iannuzzi of Fort Washington,PA, brother; Vincent Carlone of Oceana, CA, nieces Jeanne Murray and Carol Ann McCloskey and many other nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late Agnes B. Carlone, Rita Carlone and Anne Marie Carlone.
