Myron Stemple, a truly wonderful person passed away on September 8, 2014 at the age of 88.

Myron was born in Philadelphia PA, son of Jenny and Joseph Stemple. Myron lived in Ridley Park since 1970, recently returning to California for the past three months to live in Rocklin, CA with his family after losing the love of his life Margaret.

Myron proudly served his country for the U.S. Navy for 20 years; serving in WWII, Korea and Vietnam.

Myron also retired after working at the Philadelphia Mint. His post retirement years included volunteering for the U.S. Fleet reserve association other support work as a 4th degree Knight of Columbus.

He enjoyed his life and the time spent with his family and friends.

Myron is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Margaret A. Sefchick Stemple; his loving parents; sister Josephine Patterson and brother Leon Stemple.

Myron is survived by his wonderful daughter Veronica Dean and son Mike Stemple, daughter in law Teresa Stemple and grandchildren Amanda & Alex Stemple. Fair winds and flowing seas old shipmate. We love you and will miss your stories, love and compassion.

Funeral Mass 10:00AM Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the Church of St. Madeline, Penn St. and Morton Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call after 9:00AM. Burial in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
