Muriel H. Duckett Gossin, 89
Former Flower Designer
Muriel H. Duckett Gossin, 89, of Collingdale, died October 26, 2011 at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Gossin lived in S.W. Philadelphia prior to moving to her late residence 10 years ago. Muriel was the ultimate Phillies fan and enjoyed her time in Avalon with the gang.
She was wife of the late Fred L. Gossin who died September 25, 1987, mother of the late Rick Gossin, daughter of the late Samuel and Eva C. Dettra Duckett, sister of the late Geraldine D. Carter and John "Jack" Duckett, and Hobo
Survivors: mother of Jeffrey L. Gossin and his wife Kitty with whom she made her home, grandmother of Deana, Ricky, Brian, Bobby and Billy, mother-in-law of Jane Gossin, also four great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service: 11 AM Tuesday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Avenue, Ridley Park
Visitation: after 10 AM at the funeral home
Burial: Glenwood Memorial Gardens
