Obituary

Monna J. Hitchens, 69, of Aston died on October 23, 2020 at Mercy Catholic Medical Center - Mercy Fitzgerald Campus.  Born in Chester, she was the daughter of Rosemarie Castagna Hitchens and the late Levin Paul "Hitch" Hitchens and resided in Florida before moving to her late residence 24 years ago.

Monna was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1970 and was employed at WalMart in Boothwyn.  She previously worked for Clifton Precision.  Monna enjoyed doing ceramics and was an avid Phillies fan but most important was her family, especially her two great nieces and her great nephew.

She is predeceased by her siblings, Levin P. "Buddy" Hitchens, Jr. and Mary Louise Hitchens.

Monna is survived by her loving and devoted longtime companion, Frank Borgensen; her siblings, Donna M. Klimowski (Robert) and Kevin E. Hitchens (Deborah); her nephew and godson, Rob Klimowski (Janet); and her many cousins.
