Miron "Brake" Bakalez, 88 of Milmont Park, died April 22, 2012 at The Wallingford.
Born in Chester, he has lived at his late residence for the past 52 years.
He was last employed as a Purchasing Agent for the Federal Government and was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during WWII and received the Pacific Theater Ribbon with 2 stars, the American Theater Ribbon, the Victory Medal, and the Philippine Liberation Ribbon.
Miron was an avid bowler and pool player in several local leagues.
He was father of the late Ron Bakalez.
Survivors: his wife of 63 years, Norma Ethel Robson Bakalez, his son; Robert Bakalez (Debbie), daughter; Karen Delmonico (Gerry), daughter in law; Irene Todd, also five grandchildren and one great-grandson.
