Mildred J. Steward 82 of Claymont, DE died July 10, 2014 at Naamans Creek Country Manor.

Born in Upland, she was daughter of the late Cornelus C. and Mildred Viola Yarnall Steward and lived in Aston before moving to her late residence 3 ½ years ago.

Mildred worked at Our Lady of Angels Convent for 35 years, retiring in 2011. She was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church and was a graduate of Media High School, class of 1949. Mildred loved fishing and the Phillies but most important to her was her family.

She is survived by her daughter Susan A. Oakes; grandchildren Jamie and Stacy Oakes; great granddaughter Aundrea Ford; her siblings Elsie Cimabue and John Steward (Joan); her longtime companion Anthony "Tony" DiMarino; also nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service 11:00AM Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Rd., Aston where friends may call after 10:00AM. Burial private.
