Mildred W. Blackson Pierce, 94, of Wilmington, DE died August 14, 2012 at Gilpin Hall. Born in Marple Township, Mrs. Pierce lived in Lenni prior to moving to her late residence 15 years ago. Mildred had previously been employed by Lenni Products, and was devoted to her family.

She was wife of the late William L. Pierce, daughter of the late William and Wilhelmina Murphy Blackson; and predeceased by five siblings.

Survivors: son Ronald B. Pierce (Karen), grandmother of Ronald B., Jr., Matthew, and Jennifer Pierce and Gregory Permar; also survived by her great-grandson Samuel Permar and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM Monday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Road, Aston.

Visitation: after 9:30 AM Monday at the funeral home.

Burial: Mount Hope Cemetery
