Mildred M. Powell Letts, 86, formerly of Drexel Hill, died on May 16, 2021 at Fair Acres Geriatric Center.

Mildred was born in Philadelphia and was a graduate of John Bartram High School.  She was a member of St. Andrews R.C. Church and was employed as a cashier at Misericordia Hospital for 20 years before retiring in 1989.  She loved vacations in Cape May, NJ, ceramics, word puzzles and playing cards but most important was her family.

She was loving wife of the late Arthur J. Letts, who died on January 2, 2017, daughter of the late Wendell G. Powell and Grace L. Johnson, sister of the late Wendell Powell, Jr., Florence Cornelius, Richard Powell, Doris Powell, George Powell and half-sister of the late Alberta Maybe.

Mildred is survived by her children; Joseph P. Letts (Shirley), Theresa M. O'Doherty (Thomas), Patricia A. Letts and Susan M. Harnett (Douglas), grandmother of Brian T. O'Doherty (Jennifer), Jennifer N. Letts, Sarah E. Brigandi (John M.) Dana Cullen, Eric Letts (Desiree) and Amber Cullen, also five great-grandchildren.
