Michelle L. Orio, 63 of Folsom died on January 5, 2025 surrounded by her family.  Born in Upland and a lifelong resident of Ridley Towship, she was the daughter of the late Maurice A. Orio, Jr. and Wilma B. Harris Orio.

Michelle was a graduate of Ridley High School and the Venus Beauty Academy. She owned and operated Scorpion Shears in Media for many years. Michelle enjoyed sewing and loved her dogs Daisy and Nova. Above all else, Michelle treasured her family. She found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren, spontaneous outings to the movies, lunch dates, and shopping sprees.

Michelle was a devoted mother to Nicole Nordgren, grandmother of Gianna Titerance and Payten Severa, sister of Mark Orio (Mary), aunt of Desiree and Anthony Orio, and is also survived by her great nieces and nephews, and longtime companion Robert Marshall. Michelle was loved and cherished dearly by many close friends and relatives. She is reunited in Heaven with her beloved mother and father who she missed dearly.

Visitation will be from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM Monday, January 20, 2025 at Notre Dame de Lourdes R.C. Church, 1000 Fairview Rd., Swarthmore. Followed by her funeral mass at 10:30 AM. Burial SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
