Michela "Mickey" Iuliani Nardini, 72
Devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother
Michela "Mickey" Iuliani Nardini, 72, of Ridley Park, died November 9, 2011 after a courageous battle with brain cancer at Vitas Hospice at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital. Born in Italy, Mrs. Nardini settled in Philadelphia in 1956 and has lived at her late residence since 1969. She was employed as a seamstress at Pincus Maxwell Brothers, retiring in 1999.
She was a member of The Church of St. Madeline and loved sewing, cooking, baking cookies and gardening. Most important was her devotion to her grandchildren.
She was daughter of the late Vincenzo and Grazia Iermieri Iuliani and sister of the late Antonio Iuliani, Libera DiCrosta and Lucia DiPaola.
Survivors: husband of 49 years, Charles J. Nardini, mother of Rosamaria Nardini, sister of Assunta Giordano, Maria Carangelo, Carmela Cuoci and Antonietta Iermieri, grandmother of Nicholas G. Borak, Jr. and Christina Marie Borak, also survived by a sister-in-law Concetta Iuliani and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass: 10 AM Tuesday at The Church of St. Madeline, Penn Street and Morton Ave., Ridley Park.
Visitation: 7 to 9 PM Monday and 8:30 to 9:15 AM Tuesday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078.
Burial: SS Peter & Paul Cemetery
