Michael Racine 69 of Newark, DE died on November 26, 2017 at Season's Hospice at Christiana.

Born in Claremont, NH to the late Warren W. and Ursula Strehlke Racine and lived in West Grove before moving to his late residence eight years ago.

He was an EMT at Conoco Philips Refinery, retiring in 2007. Michael was a graduate of Sun Valley High School, class of 1968.

He loved animals and enjoyed football, skiing, boating and his Harley Davidson.

Michael served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War, receiving the National Defense Service Medal, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with One Bronze Star and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. He also served in the US Naval Reserves.

Michael is survived by his children, Justin Racine and Alisha Racine; his sister Patricia Racine Kaplan; his brother in law Myron "Mike" Kaplan; three grandchildren and his former wife Linda Thomas Racine.

Visitation 7 to 9PM Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Road, Aston. Burial private.
