Michael A. Maggio, 59, of Aston died October 2, 2017 at his home. Born in Chester, he was the son of the late James and Alice Smith Maggio and resided in Brookhaven before moving to his late residence 23 years ago.
Michael was a graduate of Sun Valley High School, class of 1975 and was a self-employed entrepreneur for 35 years at Maggio Janitorial. He enjoyed gardening, genealogy, time in Ocean City, NJ and was a Philadelphia sports fan, but most important was his family.
Michael was predeceased by his sister, Mary Scannapieco.
Survivors: husband of Charlotte L. Thuer Maggio, his wife of 34 years; father of Alicia Maggio Burns (Bill), Meghan Maggio Szymczyk (Jerry), Michael J. Maggio, Joseph T. Maggio, and Hannah N. Maggio; grandfather of Alexis and Jack Burns, Emma, Chase, Jordan and Aubrey Szymczyk; and brother of James Maggio and Theresa Ford.
