Michael J. DellaPolla, 56, of Morton, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2012 at home.
Born in Drexel Hill, Mike lived in Philadelphia prior to moving to his latest residence 47 years ago. Mike spent much of his time hanging out at his family's owned restaurant / bar and enjoyed playfully tormenting the customers.
Mike was an avid pool player and played on the Della Polla pool team. He especially loved going to the Jersey shore. His favorite activities included fishing in the bay, playing the arcade games on the boardwalk, swimming in the ocean and playing in the sand.
He was the son of the late Elizabeth J. Della Polla.
Survivors: son of Carmen V. Della Polla, father of Michelle Garrity (Keith), Jennifer Lukens and Melissa Lukens, brother of Ann Brittingham (Paul), Elizabeth Della Polla, June Ibbetson (Ed), Dawn Masterson (Greg), Carmen Della Polla, Nick Della Polla and Jamie Della Polla, special companion to Eileen Donovan, also survived by one grandson.
Funeral Service and Burial are private. No calling hours.
