Michael J. Clavin, Jr., 46, former resident of Ridley Park, PA, West Chester, PA, Scottsdale, AZ, and Chesterbrook, PA, died suddenly at his home on April 2, 2018.
He was last employed at Cotiviti (formerly Connolly Healthcare) as an Auditor and previously worked at AEGON Direct Marketing Services as a Systems Support Coordinator, at Independence Blue Cross as a Business Systems Analyst, and also had previously worked at Vanguard.
Michael was a member of Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church. He was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1989 where he played baseball. He attended Temple University for Business and then attended Millersville University, earning a B.S. Degree in Meteorology Science. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, and meteorology. Michael was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, but most important to him was his family.
Michael was the son of Michael J. Clavin, Sr. and Jane F. Borg Clavin; brother of Michele M. Scannapieco (Raymond), their children, Max and Kaitlyn; Jennifer L. Bonaventura (Mike), their children, Michael and Bradley; also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral Mass: 11:00AM Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park, PA
Visitation: Monday 7:00 to 9:00PM and Tuesday 9:15 to 10:15AM at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park.
Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery.
