Michael D. Carr 66 of Aston, died February 25, 2015 at Riddle Memorial Hospital.
Born in York, he was son of the late John Preston Carr and Laura Edith Bull Carr and lived in Swarthmore before moving to Aston 31 years ago.
He was a Supervisor for the U.S. Postal Service at the Swarthmore Post Office for 35 years, retiring in 2004. After his retirement, he worked in the Security Department at Neumann University.
Michael was a member of Mt. Hope U.M. Church and loved sports and traveling.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Suzanne C. Searle Carr; his children Jeffrey M. Carr, Cindy A. Babiak (Karl), Kevin D. Carr, Thomas D. Carr (Heather) and Carolyn C. Conti (Shawn) and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral Service 11:00AM Monday, March 2, 2015 at Mt. Hope U.M. Church, 4020 Concord Rd., Aston where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45AM. Burial in adjoining cemetery.
