Michael William Barbiers, 75, of Swarthmore died on August 4, 2022 at his home.

Mike was a graduate of Ridley Township High School, class of 1965 and proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He had been employed as a Dispatcher by the Marple Township Police Department for 41 years. Mike was a former Mummer, he marched with the Murray Comedy Division as well as the Avenuers and Saturnalians. Mike also enjoyed hunting, fishing and computers, he will be remembered as a kind and thoughtful person.

He was son of Isabelle E. Burnetski Barbiers and the late Michael G. Barbiers, brother of Jane Falkowski (Michael) and uncle of David Falkowski.

Funeral Liturgy 11 AM Friday, August 12, 2022 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave, Ridley Park. Visitation 6:30 to 8:30 PM Thursday and after 10 AM Friday at the funeral home. Burial SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
