Michael J. Amabile, 53, of Wallingford, died at home on February 4, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, he lived in Fort Myers, FL and Morton before moving to his late residence 17 years ago. Michael was son of the late Dominic and Marie Ford Amabile and brother of the late Jimmy Amabile.




He was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1979 and a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church. Michael was self-employed for 30 years at Michael J. Amabile Home Improvement. He enjoyed Happy Hour at Durty Nelly's on Friday, hunting, golfing, skiing and his dog, Lucius, but most of all was his devotion to his wife, children and family.




Michael was the loving husband of Miriam L. "Mimi" Godoy Amabile, his wife of 19 years; devoted father of Michael A. and Nicky R. Amabile; brother of Dominic Amabile (Lori), Stephen Amabile (Kendall), Lorraine Weible, Lisa McCarrick (Keith) and Diane Henderson (Hobie); son-in-law of Nini Godoy; and brother-in-law of Sue Moletteri (Evan); he is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.




Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM Monday, February 9, 2015 at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 1001 Chester Pike, Eddystone




Visitation: 6:30 to 8:30 PM Sunday and 8:15 to 9:15 AM Monday at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA
