Maxine Johnson Sutterlin, 77 of Aston, PA died December 20, 2010 at Abington Hospice at Warminster.
Born in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late George W. and Emma Balzer Johnson and has lived in Aston for the past forty two years.
Mrs. Sutterlin was a member of St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, Friends of U.S.P., St. John's Seniors, Aston Seniors, Friends of Fair Acres and volunteered at Delaware County Intermediate Unit and C.A.D.E.S. She loved traveling and being with her grandchildren.
She was wife of the late Charles G. Sutterlin, Jr, her husband of 54 years at his death in 2009 and sister of the late Betty Jean Richards Laird who died in 1981.
Survivors; Children; Carol Jeanne Lauter (Scott) of Lancaster, Robert C. Sutterlin (Jane) of State College and Gary E. Sutterlin (Gayle) of Buckingham and nine grandchildren.
Funeral Service 11:00AM Thursday at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Pennell Rd. and Lamp Post Lane, Aston, PA where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45AM. Burial Fernwood Cemetery.
