Matthew Todd Monteith

Matthew Todd Monteith, 48, of Prospect Park, PA went home to be with his Heavenly Father on August 7, 2026. Born in Greenville, SC, he had lived in South Philadelphia before moving to Prospect Park, PA eight years ago.

Todd was a graduate of Berea High School, Greenville, SC class of 1996 and continued his education by receiving an Associate’s in Arts from Spartanburg Methodist College, Spartanburg, SC and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Clemson University, Clemson, SC. He was a member of the City Life Philly Church and for the past five years was employed as a driver and sales representative for Frito Lay.

Todd was a devout Clemson Tigers Fan, he was also a Philadelphia sports fan. He was an avid golfer and cross-country runner, Todd also loved animals, but most important was his Christian faith and his loving family.

He was the loving husband of Meredith Pollock Monteith, cherished father of Miriam Faith Monteith, son of Phillip T. and Vickie Jeffords Monteith, brother of Jason P. Monteith, uncle of Gwyneth, Koen and Graelynn Monteith, son-in-law of Robert and Dorothy Gillin Pollock, brother-in-law of Brian Pollock and is also survived by aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends.
