Obituary

Marylou Burke (nee Romanosky), 78, of Wallingford passed away peacefully on April 27, 2022 surrounded by her family. Born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Anthony and Anna Zeleznock Romanosky, she lived in Glenolden before moving to Wallingford in 1985.
Marylou was a graduate of Notre Dame High School for Girls in Moylan, class of 1962 and was a member of Nativity BVM R.C. Church. Marylou filled her days with many joyful moments with her husband and daughters. She was dedicated to her grandchildren by attending all of their events and activities. She loved playing cards and enjoying days at the beach. She enjoyed hosting holiday dinners, sailing, and shopping. She was an advocate for rescuing dogs and providing a loving environment for them.
She was the beloved wife of 54 years to Edmund J. Burke Jr., loving mother to Kathleen Mallee (John), Marianne Burke, and Jennifer Keener (Ken), devoted grandmother to Andrew, Aidan, Rebecca, Gianna, Savannah, Madison, and Ashton, faithful sister to Jack Romanosky (Carol), also survived by her adored nieces, nephews and many treasured friends.
Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Monday, May 2, 2022 at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church, 208 Milmont Park, PA where relatives and friends may call 9:15 to 10:15 AM. Burial SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
