Marygrace "Tess" Gorman of Aldan, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on January 9, 2024.
Tess was born on September 15, 1935, to Frank D. and Angeline Della Cioppa D'Alonzo in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the youngest of eight children.
Tess graduated from Saint Monica Catholic High School. She went on to work with GE and retired while working at a local Daycare with infants.
Tess married Francis Gorman Jr. on September 14, 1957. They resided in Southwest Philadelphia with three daughters. She was best known for spending time with her family and friends, her love for animals, and her quick wit.
Tess is survived by her daughters, Michele Rogers (Tom), Cheryl Curry, Jacqueline Ginnane (John), grandchildren, Michelle Ginnane, Andrea Palo (Matthew), Dr. Alexis Lanahan (James), Michelle Conner (Ken), Matthew Rogers (Renee), Tommy Rogers (Jessica), and great grandchildren, Aiden Palo, Jocelyn Palo, Vienna Palo, Cecelia Lanahan, Kaitlyn Conner, Kenny Conner, Matthew Rogers, sister in law, Marianne Dolphin, and many loyal friends and loving nieces and nephews.
Tess was predeceased by her husband, Francis Gorman Jr., her parents, Angeline and Frank D'Alonzo, and her siblings, Anna, Jeanette, Mary, Helen, Lonnie, Anthony (Andy), Lou, and grandson, Steven Curry.
Visitation 9 to 10:30 AM Monday, January 15, 2024 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM at St. Dorothy R.C. Church 4910 Township Line Rd., Drexel Hill, PA. Burial private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Providence Animal Shelter, 555 Sandy Bank Rd., Media, PA 19063 would be appreciated.
