Mary Lou Worland (nee Rodden), 70 of Rutledge died on October 6, 2024. Born in Darby, the daughter of the late Raymond "Ruffy" and Margaret "Peggy" Humphreys Rodden, she lived in Eddystone before moving to Rutledge ten years ago.
Mary Lou was a graduate of Notre Dame High School for Girls, class of 1972 and had been employed as the Receptionist for Concord Township for the past 20 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help R.C. Church and always loved to travel and spend time at the beach. Mary Lou will be remembered as a selfless and caring person, the most important part of her life was her family, especially her cherished granddaughter Ariella.
She was the loving mother of Erica Worland, grandmother of Ariella Faust, sister of Daniel P. Rodden (Karen), Raymond A. Rodden, Jr. (Patricia), Ann Elkind (Ken), Francis Rodden (Linda), Timothy A. Rodden (Elsie), Rosemarie Boyle (Chris), Cecilia R. Forte, Mimi R. Loftus (Thomas) and John R. Rodden, she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation 6:30 to 9:00 PM Monday, October 14, 2024 and 9:00 to 10:15 AM Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park followed at a Funeral Mass at 11 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help R.C. Church. Burial SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
