Mary A. Woelkers 87 of Lester, died on December 2, 2019. Born in Pittsburgh, she lived in Aston before moving to her late residence in 1979.
Mary was a Group Leader in the Accounting Services Department at Scott Paper Company for 23 years, retiring in 1986.

She was a graduate of St. Michael's Elementary School and Notre Dame High School, class of 1950.  Mary was a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Irish American Club, Tinicum Township Seniors and a former member of the choir at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque R.C. Church.  She was a kind and caring woman, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, was a pillar in the Begley family and her presence will be greatly missed.

Mary was the wife of the late Martin J. Woelkers who died in 2000; mother of the late Martin C. Woelkers who died in 1998 and sister of the late Patrick, Michael, John and Manus Begley; also, James and Thomas Quinn.

She is survived by her brothers, Charles and Dennis Begley; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service:  11:00AM Friday, December 6, 2019 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where friends may call after 10:00AM.

Burial:  SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
