Mary C. Roomet, 81, of Aston died March 15, 2012 at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester. Born in Ambler, Mrs. Roomet lived in Norwood prior to moving to her late residence 45 years ago.

Mary was an inspector at the Franklin Mint for 30 years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of The Church of St. Joseph, a former Girl Scout Leader and enjoyed traveling and baking.

She was wife of the late William Roomet who died in 2003 after 51 years of marriage, mother of the late William J. Roomet, daughter of the late Maximillian and Kathryn Knaughton Goettner and sister of the late Maximillian Goettner and Helen Laux.

Survivors: mother of Debra Roomet, Karen Cerami (Rudolph) and Joan Boughman (Glenn), sister of Lewis Goettner, Joan Alio, Madeline Leidy, Hugh Goettner, Matilda Paugh, Chris Mellecker and Frances Cilaberto, also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Funeral Mass: 11 AM Wednesday at The Church of St. Joseph, 3255 Concord Road, Aston, PA 19014

Visitation: after 10 AM Wednesday at the church
