Mary Ellan Pitts (née Goldsborough), 59 of Eddystone, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on May 23, 2024. Born in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. Goldsborough and Anne T. Goldsborough (née Landaiche).
Mary grew up in Eddystone and had been a resident for the past 34 years. She attended Ridley High School and was employed at CSI International, Inc. Some of her favorite activities included cooking, reading, listening to music, singing, traveling, casino visits and caring for pets Rooster, Everest and Callie.
Mary will always be remembered for the warmth and kindness she radiated. Her spirit, indomitable and full of grace, saw her through life's many challenges. Mary's laughter was a melody that lives on in the hearts of her loved ones, and they will forever be inspired by her genuine nature.
Mary was the devoted wife of 37 years to Mark A. Pitts, loving mother of Joseph R. Pitts and Meghan A. Pitts (Jonathan M. Park), youngest sister of the late Nancy M. Campbell, Joseph A. Goldsborough, Robert F. Goldsborough and Michael J. Goldsborough. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Cheryl Goldsborough, her goddaughters Jeanne Marie Schwarzmann, Annie Walls and Kateland Gardsborough, along with her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, whom she loved dearly.
Services will be held privately.
