Mary T. O'Brien Daly (nee Meisel), 96, of Woodlyn died July 19, 2016 at the home of her daughter. Born in Chester, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary McAllister Meisel and resided in Eddystone before moving to her late residence 25 years ago.

Mary was a graduate of Chester High School, class of 1937 and worked as a waitress at Penny's Family Restaurant for 27 years. She was devoted to her family and loved working at Penny's.

Mary was predeceased by her husbands, Joseph S. O'Brien, Sr. and Eugene Daly; her children, Patricia Ieradi, Joseph S. O'Brien, Jr. and Maureen C. Gerety; and her siblings, William Meisel and Helen Mullen.

Survivors: mother of Robert McClellan, William McClellan (Marsha), Donna McClellan (Tim), Diane Sheehan (Joe) and Florence Edelman (Adam); longtime friend and coworker of Mary Doud; also survived by 20 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
