Mary Zimmerman Cunnion, 79 of Harleysville died February 28, 2016 at Dock Terrace, Lansdale after a courageous battle with cancer and COPD. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Charles C. and Anna M. McLaughlin Zimmerman and resided in Brookhaven for 54 years before joining her son and daughter-in-law at their home in Harleysville last year.

Mary was a graduate of the Holy Child School in Sharon Hill, class of 1953 and Immaculata College in 1957 with a BS in Biology. She taught biology at Immaculata before devoting her time to her family. Mare to her children, Mimi to nieces and nephews and Zim to her old friends, she was a loving and amazing wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors: loving wife of Robert F. Cunnion, her husband of 57 years; mother of Anne Perry (Rocco) of Elkins Park and Arthur J. Cunnion (Hilary) of Harleysville; sister of John C. Zimmerman (Late Joan) of Ridley Park and Charles G. Zimmerman (Beatrice) of Downingtown; grandmother of Maria Perry and Simone Perry; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass: 10:30 AM Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Our Lady of Charity R.C. Church, 231 Upland Road, Brookhaven, PA 19015. No calling hours.

Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery
